wages should be dictated not by a central agency but by two people in mutual agreement... the concept of minimum wage is somehow, destructive to the economy as a whole. Minimum wage diminishes the chances of employment for inexperienced laborers from getting employment since the employers will be held liable against the labor code. in effect, it increases unemployment.

An increase in minimum wage benefits the productive workers but eliminates opportunities for those whose output cannot justify the minimum wage cost. We cannot simply look at this issue at one angle, because all of us are potential employees as well as potential employers. Businesses will simply lay off workers or exclude workers from employment, depriving them of an alternate route for success in the absence of formal education.

According to DOLE 7 director Gloria, dili across the board ang umento, meaning ang mga nagdawat lang og P305 or below ang makadawat but aron way wage distortion, ang kompaniya kinahanglang mohatag og adjustment alang sa mga above minimum wage earners.

Yes.. That's why Companies should also made some needful adjustments for those above minimum earners na below 327 and above 305.. Kay daghan jud mo reklamo og kung dli. This is mandatory baya kay gi approved nani..pero I dont have an IDEA sa katong mga gamay na establishments kay lisod para nila ni ang wage increase.

i really don't agree with that kind of thinking. There is such thing as promotion that compensates worthy laborers for their increased productivity. An unnecessary increase in wage without an increase in productivity will result in loss for the company, forcing them to lay off and/or stop hiring.

Huh? But the increased is mandatory, isn't it? Pwera nalang siguro sa mga gagmay kaayo na companies na who cannot afford.. As per news, DOLE will be focusing to inspect Companies if they are really implementing the increased. But this will take effect by next month pa daw kong walay kakulian.
