Why do you "HATE/didn't bought/don't like" iPhone?

I don't hate it. I just don't have the money to buy it and if given chance I would like to try it before saying I hate it. ^_^however I believed that it's overrated.

yes, that's true kailangan ug itunes but ang itools dili lang ky gamit sa pagtransfer or convert sa movies, i'm usually using it as a program for making backup so much easier & manageable jud, most especially sa mga photos & contacts.

you can even use it to edit the actual ios interface or equivalent sa registry for windows platform if kabalo lang ka, although wala ko mosuway ani but itools can go that deep sa imo mga idevices.

I don't hate the iPhone, its a fine phone for casual users.

but here's why I haven't bought one, and probably wont until these are fixed :

No value for money (IMHO, kay makalagot ang apple di musugot ug sideloading, Lisod ang warranty claims sa apple makalagot sila mangita jud ug paagi nga dili nila ma service for free imong stuff, which is why since 2009 dili na jud ko mu palit apple product bisan unsa. 4. Hilig kaayo ko ug modifications whether hardware/software.
5. iTunes
6. Apple will make their OS super closed in the future, wherein all apps must be sourced from the Apple store! Unya bogo kaayo ang mga restriction sa Apple store.
7. Ako mga kaila nga naka iPhone mga... ehem, alam nyo na.

few years ago, bata pa ko.

- I almost bought a macintosh for school (1995ish), i was going to use it for programming. Mai na lang kay wala na dayun kay dili diay pwede mag program didto. no windows = no work, no studies, no gaming.
- few years later, college na ko, my friend ask me to help him fix his computer, guba ang HDD. i couldnt open it since the screws are different, when we finally able to open it, everything inside is locked! more screws and some are soldered.
- IMAC - SUPER EXPENSIVE WHAT THE HELL! people still buy, but for me, it's simple because i cant use it for my programming projects or play the lastest games. All issues before can still be found here.
- cant fix / repair the mac computer, have to send to manila to fix, pay $$$ money, hope they dont reformat?
- Ipod came, itunes and the dreaded ireplacable battery. cant play mp3 music. EVERYTHING from earphones to accessories is monopoly. thank god for jailbreak? no more warranty. why bother?
- mini ipod - same issue above
- Iphone - same issue with all the above.
- fast forward to present day, MAC - same issue cant use for work. I cant program in Apple Computers or Iphone, i NEED to buy a MAC computer first. this is getting irritating...
- plus all the issues apple doing right now. their culture of shutting everyone out. removing developer's apps because they have created/copied new apps that conflicts with the one they have (biggest example is google, there are other developers too). trying to monopolize the ebooks business.
- those who are stuck in apple world are stuck in there. You've purchased apps, accessories, musics and videos that are locked to their proprietary formats and products. They dont work on regular Windors PC or android or other products (ps3 for example). it will only work on apple products (they can simply say NO, you need to purchase again, you know they can).


smug all you want about apple/iphone. I simply hate everything about it. i boycott all apple products.

i still have my iphone2g and it still seems to cope up with the latest models.

everything i have that i bought along with my 2g were either broken or the batteries are f#cked up!

maybe sa imung case boss ni last bcoz imung g.ampingan. how about sa katong unfortunate nga nangaguba.

sa akong case akong iphone, home button kay gahi na, battery life is poor, busted speaker.

i take good care of all my stuffs to be honest.
yeah, the home button may be an issue on mine as well but at least its still working
batt life for me is still ok. the usual 10 hrs or maybe less but i can still use it.
i mean i use it to its purpose. i dont brag about it like most people do.

its overrated coz its carefully engineered.
i can tell you straight away why i "prefer" my iphone4 over my galaxy s3.

i dont tend to use things and change it. i use it according to its purpose.
so goes with itunes, if you set your mind to a certain point nga buying is better than stealing, then rest assured ,the company will not stop innovating things to impress you.
