SMART MyBro WiMax Plan 999 Problem

Mga Bro,

Ask lng unta kog ideas or suggestions na angay buhaton og Kon sakto ba ang gibuhat sa taga Smart sa akong Ate.

Ni Subscribe akong Ate sa ilang wimax Plan 999 pero for the first 2 months 499php lang ang bayaran. then after that 999php na ang bayaran. mga 1 month palang ang nilabay sukad sya ni subscribe, og 1 month sd siya nag antos sa ka hinay og intermittent connection. Sad to say d a ko sa cebu then tua sa probinsya sa bohol akong ate, then pag uli ra nako pag kalag2x na check ang wimax og mao ni ang problema na akong nakita:

1. Ang laptop sa akong ate gi installan sa taga smart og HotSpot Shield na free vpn. Maka internet sya pero hinay kaayo og annoying kaayo ang mga ads na mag cge og popup. If akong e disconnect ang HotSpot Shield dili na maka internet.
2. Gi try sd nako sa akong netbook og connected ko largo sa wimax nila ky walay PASSWORD ang wifi pero walay INTERNET. Since naa koy globe tatoo nag download og nag install kog HotSpot Shield sa akong netbook. Then ni connect nsad ko sa Wifi og sa dihang maka connect nako sa internet using hotpsot shield pero pagka hinay jud usahay putol2x.

Kinsay naka experience dha? Makatarunganon ba ni ang gibuhat sa taga Smart? Unsay angay nakong buhaton?

try inquire dretso sa smart regarding sa imung problem. basig dili nah legal nga connection.

basin free internet connection na TS through VPN. ngano gud installan ka ug HSS sa taga smart. i report na sa smart TS para ma actionan na... illegal connection na basin dili to taga smart

I subscribed the same plan last saturday, got the unit today and its the indoor version router/wimax. I only subscribed to the 999plan as a secondary/backup line, thinking that this is way too better than the smart_plug_it i am currently using(my main line is a SKYcable cable line).

Sad to say that the myBro is really f**king slow, the only reason why i let go of the people installing it is that its showing a very good ping and speedtest showing .5mbps which is not bad for a cheap plan and mobile router. Then the guys told me to wait for 24hrs and maybe ill have my account updated(they dont have control of such things). I was hoping that within the 24hr period this will get faster specially during the night, and maybe i could tweak it to fix the problem.

I have used this with 3 different computers and also tested two areas in different cities and its showing the same results. So my guess is that there must be something wrong in how its configured. I wish i could post screenshots about the pings, tracerts and the router settings, however im just hoping if someone here experiencing the same thing and could share a thing or two to make this any faster. Help is really appreciated, if you are from smart/pldt and have read my post...please give me ideas on how to do a quickfix.

Im giving myBro a chance until monday...if this is really bad then i will discontinue and if they wont allow me to(24month lock in) then ill prolly just go delinquent and throw away this cute lil router.

Ako na experience sa ako mybro is very slow and putol2x jud during adlawan.. but if muabot nag around 11 pm - 7am , kusog and stable ang connection. Pero wa gihapoy kwenta,,kinsa man tawng tawhana ganahan mugamit ug computer anang orasa oi! mga nocturnal naman tawn na.. wa juy au ang smart mybro nila.. lock in pajud ug 24months!
