you can save on freight expense if you try to look for ships that can do the shipping for you on a per shipping agreement. by the way, where do you get your stuff?

If you go on retailing, i will suggest that you should not buy on bulks...as we knew, buyers wants to be their dresses to always be on latest fashion and as unique as possibly be...So if you go buy on bulks and you cannot sell it in a matter of months the tendency is you will be over stocking... as we know, asian fashions is easily to changes styles and modes...

thanks for the pcs. of advice! i'll probably go back to BKK to shop for the items. I also don't believe in buying in bulk coz you lose the uniqueness of the item (it's a great selling point pa ra ba!)...i was doing some calculations man gud and adding up the fare and hotel, it would be quite expensive na, you have to include those pa gud to your cost...what i don't get is how retailers do their pricing na affordable n reasonable gyapon...they more or less have to leave every month diba? coz you can't have the same look all the time...mahal man cge larga...unless u buy by the container nya super daghan styles in one load? unsaon man jud pag bawi sa larga

I have a friend who's into this kind of business...iya na lang gibaligya NOT because wala siyay halin but because gikapoy na siya.

This is not an easy business. She travels to Manila once a month and shop at Baclaran, Tutuban and 168. Plane ha, back and forth, dili by ship. Gasto siyag mga 40k per travel. Sa plane fare ra na and the items. Kay she has relatives in Manila so she stays there for a night. Larga siya diri buntag sayo, then pag-abot diritso shopping. Naa gani times, kung mahuman siya shopping in a day, larga siya balik sa gabii.

She loves clothes mao ng ganahan siya sa business. She stopped kay gikapoy na siya travel...she was pregnant at that time and risky kaayo. So she sold her rights to her stall and have another business na dili kinahanglan ug constant travel.

No need to buy in bulk or containers oy. 40k is enough for a month. More than enough na na if you have a stall like in Maze, Chains, etc. You need to travel constantly kay para dili daan imong styles kay every week naay bag-o sa Manila.

zahara, if u don't mind me asking: how does ur friend price her items reasonably? 2 think cge cya larga so dako2x jud ang expenses...plus rent pa. i noticed sa mga maze, or chains (those sub-lease types of establishments) kay pare-pareha ra jud ila prices...gamay ra ang ila profit margin? or dako pud? i really don't have any idea pa coz i don't have a store yet. mahadlok ko mo mahal na grabeh when i finally put up a space...

some of them are also into consignment..like in salad dressing..waaaa...dako au cla patong oist!
pero ok raman pod cguro kay mahal baya ila monthly rental ug other expenses
they also travel in Banngkok sometimes in china
but gurl, u need not travel there naman kung u want to buy by pcs lang
y? kay kung travel ka didto mahal au expenses dba then i believe same rana dre sa pinas
na d pahangyo ug barato kun d dghan paliton...
i agree na we shouldnt buy in bulk kun d ta distributor/wholesaler or kung wala pata market
    sa ato pamaliton...
ok to idea sa frend ni zahara pero mao lage kapoi cge travel...
suggestion sis ha, if incase u wanna sell by bulk dapat naa jud ka enough capital for it (as in dako2 gyud)
i tried man gud inquiring from someone na nag offer ug wholesale pero waaaaa...ala di cxa enough capital
ang labas, ako pa invest for my items...then i cant see all the items with the colors/designs and everything...faet baya
na ingna na d ta kita sa atong bayaran!!!
ila2 sa imo supplier pag au...bisan dre sa pinas dghan man supplier bah na nice ila clothes
