hi chicchic, i sent an FB request sa imoha..by the way, my family bloodline is a separate branch from the Frias family in Naga...there were at least 3 women (as far as i know) that bore Fr. Antolin Frias children...one branch produced JL Regner (kanang contractor bitaw)..kami ang 2nd branch..then kamo ang 3rd branch..the branch who carried his surname after marrying Aleja Suarez... Have you tried asking from the Augustinians of Santo Nino? Try to contact Maribel of the basilica museum, she might be able to lead you to the Augustinian library where information about the Augustinians are found. Or, it if you are lucky, you might even be able to stumble on his grave at the basilica ossuary where the bones of some Augustinians are still kept. Frias was surely Spanish.
Anyway, congrats Engineering for an interesting thread. Don't you think you enrolled in the wrong course in college? You should have enrolled in history.
