Gospel of Judas debunked!

Hi guys,

The Gospel of Judas stirred up doubts in most believers and have been often used
by unbelievers and agnostics to somehow find the cannonical gospels unreliable.
plus the gospel of Judas was featured in NAT GEO some time in 2006 of which make the claim look more authentic..

i will post a lik that would somehow give supporters of the gospel of Judas, aetheists, agnostics and the like another perspective about it.

and perhaps, clear out some confusion and doubts on Christians that the gospels in the bible are worth
believing than any other gospels that sprung out a couple of centuries later(as per carbon dating)
obviously the gospel of Judas was not written by Judas..

so here's the other side of the coin....

everything is biased and unbiased in their own ways...so it's just for the sake of weighing options...
like for me Jesus is God, for others He isnt..
open mindedness might actually help die down the feud between different beliefs...
i know the link says NAT GEO is biased but at least take the content as a possibility
'cause after all, though we are sure about whatever we believed in, we can only hope we are right..
as human beings we can at least give credit or the benefit of the doubt to the opposing claims..
we've got nothing to loose really reading it with an open mind, in fact we can gain "another perspective"

let us focus on the gospel of Judas before this becomes another aetheism and theism debate...
this thread mainly focuses on a certain topic.

The gospel of judas is based on history and facts. It shows that the accounts relating to the existence of Jesus from Nazareth is not only confined to the New Testament writings. Dapat u should treat it as additional evidence to the fact that Jesus Christ is real and had once existed and lived among us more than 2,000 years ago. Because there are some non-believers including some atheists stating that Jesus is a product of fiction and imagination and is not a real person..

mr.deem is apparently a science maniac..Lol. so im pretty sure he's not the regular fundie like the ones we commoners have in mind
when we encounter sites about Christianity or the like (assuming that mr.deem is indeed a fundie...hehehe)

The message of the gospel of Judas was actually to discredit the other gospels. not to add evidences if Jesus did walk on earth..

naa pud kay point bro however i think each of us are like Judas in our own ways, even peter denied Jesus..others left Jesus to die
except for john but barely did nothing..if Judas did not hang himself..he would have been one of the strongest disciples of Jesus and his testimony of betrayal would have been one of his powerful tools in converting people..
as saul to paul..

though not really sure of his souls' whereabouts...'cause after all...it is only God who judges.

as a christian bai, i think Judas' destiny was to move on and accept Christ's forgiveness then proclaim the gospel
in the same manner that we do when we fall instead of beating ourselves up with guilt...
after all, that's what Jesus came for...to bear the sins of the world..if God forgives, why can't we forgive ourselves?
the best thing to do is to claim what He did for us as a sign of gratitude and thankfulness
and to try not to sin again although it's qiute impossible but as a christian
i believe what i can't do, Jesus can...so i trust myself in His care...

and i don't hate Judas of course..hehehehe...kinsa gud tawn ko mag paka righteous as if wala koy sala...
but i believe the so called "gospel of judas" is present to challenge the cannonical gospels and to whoever wrote it wanted to discredit Christianity..
and obviously it was not written by Judas as carbon dating shows it was written in late 200 to early 300 AD
