I am halfway through the book and really enjoyed it! I can't wait to see the film based on this book. Directed by Ang Lee!

the floating island and the killer plants.

I really want Ang Lee to

veer towards the story with the humans in the end. But I have a feeling that this is more of an uplifting, triumph-over-tragedy kind of story so it'll probably stick with the animal story. The twist with them killing and eating each other would be way too dark.
