The University of San Carlos is now a partner of Apple Inc.'s iOS Developer University Program. The move was initiated by Apple Education Asia in partnership with Dreamtech Inc. (iCampus) and the Department of Computer Engineering. As a member of the program, the University is entitled to exclusive access to development tools including Xcode with the capability of tethering an iOS device to simulate apps on the device itself. An introduction to iOS programming seminar was sponsored by Apple Education Asia and hosted by the Department of Computer Engineering. The program aimed to make USC become an iOS development hub and a training center.
