yes defense is also a huge factor especially when it comes to those challenged shots which would lessen the percentage og making it.

anyone could drain and make that 3 point shoot when they are open since they are all pro. And for me MJ had a strong IQ and decision making when it comes to playing basketball. Kobe on the other hand had better shooting when it comes to 3 point territory since he enhanced it on every game he has.

I think Kobe is a better 3-point shooter than MJ, but that doesn't make him a better player than MJ. In fact, Steve Kerr is a better 3-point shooter than both of them.
