LOOKING FOR HOME THEATER SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFER:



Batian man ko sa mga samsung and sony home theater set up uy... gus2 ko mag make akoa nalang pero i have no idea how...

looking for speakers (kanang with stands or if not atleast dili katong cube )

subwoofer (i dont know pila ka watts ang nindot bsta gus2 ko kusog )

some general queries: your input is highly appreciated:

1. unsa man jud set up from speakers to an amplifier dba? then unsa manang equalizer? and asa e. connect ang dvd?
2. pwede 5.2 set up? naay amplifier nga pwede ani nga set-up?
3. compatibility issues? regarding sa speaker and the amplifier/receiver? naa mana issues diha noh?

You can have Bookshelf/Floorstanding speakers. Wharfedale, Polk Audio, B&W, Klipsch, etc..

For your subwoofer, it depends on your room size, if you're gonna put it in the living room, approx, 10x20feet, then you need at least 12" of sub. It's about 150-400W.

1. All you need is an AV Receiver (Onkyo, Pioneer, Yamaha, Harman/Kardon, etc.). Prices vary depending on the model/features. If you're looking for brand new receivers, prices range from 17K-150K (or even more).

2. Yes, AV Receivers nowadays are 5.1, 7.1, 7.2, 9.1, 9.2 channels. You can also use a RCA Y-Connector for your receiver's subwoofer-out (if you have a 5.1 AVR) if you want.

3. I think you only have too look at the maximum wattage of the speakers and receiver and their impedance (mostly 6 and 8 Ohms).


Tip lang bro. If you're on a semi-tight budget, you can buy them separately (chop-chop). Example, this month, para receiver, next month front and center speakers, next month subwoofer, etc...
