michael is always gonna go for a high percentage shot that's why he limits himself from shooting a long range 3 point shoot. But when he is hot he can also light up from out there. A good example was on the game with Portland Trailblazers.

pwede apilon sa discussion ang defense? how they defended mj and kobe
Meaning ... he knows he couldn't get a high percentage shots on beyond the arc . If you're defense is that Michael Jordan only settled for a mid-range and etc and better at it compared to Kobe , create a thread about it . Remember this thread is about asking a question whether Kobe is a better 3PT shooter than MJ . No ifs and/or buts .
Talking about defense ... it's not like MJ played with no-name players during his time that's why he became great . He was also guarded by players who had great DRTg .
PS: I'm neither a Lakers fan nor Kobe , I just want to post a non-bias fact here .
mura ug si kobe pero kanang mga crunch time na gani nga kinahanglan motira bisan pag 3 pts kaya buhaton MJ.
Donyell Marshall ties with Kobe in making 12 3pointers in 1 game.
pormado sad moitsa si marshall.
anyone could drain and make that 3 point shoot when they are open since they are all pro. And for me MJ had a strong IQ and decision making when it comes to playing basketball. Kobe on the other hand had better shooting when it comes to 3 point territory since he enhanced it on every game he has.
Great! another Kobe vs Michael Post

I think Kobe is a better 3-point shooter than MJ, but that doesn't make him a better player than MJ. In fact, Steve Kerr is a better 3-point shooter than both of them.
