Sir, i think Student Permits are valid for a year only. Way back in 2009 or 2010, LTO was opting to shorten it to 6mos. I am not sure if the approved/implemented this already. AFAIK, it is still 1 year.

Mga sirs, naa koy non-pro na DL pero expired for 5years. pwde ko mokuha usab ug SP? mahal mn gud parenew nga dormant license. hehehe
