Wala man siguro artillery rounds na guided to hit moving targets... Pero if gamitan ug "Airburst Rounds" luoy gyud ang mga infantry sa open beaches... It would rain steel shrapnels gyud....

I think the AFP won't be using Excalibur munition anytime soon--though dako jud tabang sa accuracy ang GPS-guidance. M777A2s are nice but I think for practicality, nindot kung naa juy kwarta para anah, but the M198 will do the job too.

Mas practical jud bitaw kung M198 lang.... We got good gunners man, then mas nndot kung common tanan systems para bisan Marines or Army gunners pwede ra ma interchange....
But then wala man pud ta mahimo kay di man kita mag decide kung unsa paliton sa AFP...
Taman ra ta speculations...

artilley like guns can be used anyway you want.. it can fired directly and indirectly... it can even be used to open a can or a cap of the beer (*sarcasm=off*)... question is... how effective and practical it is...
germans during ww2 uses artillery to shell omaha beach landing... hence the result of the brecourt manor assault by airborne unit led by then Lt. D!ck Winters of E Company, 506th PIR 101st Airborne...
on our perspective as what ive heard wala paman noon nahitabo nga naay gi tirahan nga moving targets, mostly stationary, and most of the indirect fire... rare rakaayo ang direct fire... but during the marcos times... they did practice that on a mock beach assault...
Itago sad unta ni nila oy... Maybe some other nations are interested for its parts....
