if ever nakatry namu na nabiyaan sa plane for whatever reason (kanang international flight) and outside Philippines pa gyud..share ur experiences


wa ko katry but hapit ra , ddto sa Holland..super duper lapad kau ang airport gud and makalinga ang mga shops na maagian plus ang bunch of fresh flowers and everything that's new to the eyes.hehe..ug sa dihang layo la diay kau akong gate number mura kog gatuyok2x sa SM..luckily gidawat ko bsan 15 mins nlng to before departure and gi open jd balik ang plane ..i wonder mag unsa kaha ko f nabyaan jd ko ato ug kung ang plete storyaan.

nabyaan jud mi sa hongkong to ako sala kay nalinga ko sa time. libog ko sayop ako tan aw sa time mao to nabyaan jud mi... 3 mi kabuok,,,paets wa na jud mi mahems kungdi mglukat ug tiket pabalik nya tag 10k each nami..amo roundtrip kay 4.5k ra unta hehe... malasa lage imbes 7 days naextend mi..naka 10 days mi ddto aw nanuroy nlng sa mi wyl ga wait kung knsa mosponsor namo palit ug tiket pabalik hehehehe knahnglan jud nga d magtangatanga mutan aw sa ticket.. kay paets jud sayang ang 10k each mau nlng unta to pangshopping hehehhe

Happened to me. But if your flight is connecting and the delay is not your fault then it should not be a big problem.

Philly airport.

My 7hr flight from LA to Philly was delayed due to weather disturbance. Plane landed in Philadelphia with only 5 min to spare for my next flight and the gate for my next flight is in the other end of the terminal and still have to ride a bus and run to the other end. Gate was closed when I arrived at the departure gate. Missed my flight to Portland, Me. Not my fault.... Rebooked for the next flight with no charges. My flight was connecting and I was using US Airways for both flights.

For near-misses, got lots of them.

Yep..happen to me 3x. DFW to Orlando, TPA to LA and lastly DFW.SFO.HK.CEBU. Fortunately these are all weather disturbances and doesnt cost me a penny for rebooking. However i had some good experience missing connecting flight. This was on 2009 when i missed my connecting flight from SFO to HK then CEB. (late arrival from DFW due to winter storm). Upon arrival in SFO they provided me suite accomodation @ Marriot near the SFO Bay and the best part is my CX flight from SFO to HK and all the way to CEBU was upgraded to Business Class. For my many years of travelling from the states to CEBU, this sas the shortest and relaxing flight that i experience.

Happened 3x once was hongkong to cebu. Miss that because Na libug ko sa time. Then lately SFO - Cebu , sobra ko ka excited na I arrived 12 hours before my departure so natulog nalang ko sa airport. Pero kuyawan ko kay abi nako na byaan nako sa flight. Sus maygani sayup ang date.

Then a long time ago na delayed ako flight from Dallas - San Francisco I forgot unsay reason. So pag abot nako wla na ako flight to SFO - Cebu pero Cathay booked me sa marriot but wlay upgrade kay 3 man mi kabouk.

katry sd diay ko connectng flyt nko HK going to Cebu hapit ra japn ko nabyaan.coz frst time nko magtravel then ako ra isa.naglibog ko asa mokuha sa boardng pass,ako tita cge man tawag ingun cya na sa information kunu kuhaon so imbis hapit nako maabot sa akong gate kay nbalik ko ngita sa info desk. luoya nko ato sakay2x pako elevator then hibung ko naabot naman ko sa naay train station.such an experience!

Sayanga bitaw sa ten kyaw. Ako bisag padung lang manila from here sa cebu, mabiyaan ghapon ko. Dako kaayo ug charges. Haisz.
