would you recommend this over the tamron 17-50 2.8?

28-75 can be used on a full frame - used it on a d700, 17-50 is for dx
28-75 does not have a vc version, 17-50 has a vc version
28-75 is more expensive than the the 17-50 non vc
17-50 is wider and better for indoor shots.
28-75 is better for weddings / events shoot (based on the reviews) i'm not a wedding photographer, i'm just a hobbyist...

28-75 is fast (as seen in the motocross shots), haven't tried the 17-50 for a sport shooting yet but i used it before for a walk-around.

* for walk around lens, both are very good, very sharp, very versatile lenses. if you have more shoots in tight spaces go for the 17-50, if you want to have more focal length and go ff in the future go for the 28-75

some copy of this lens kay naa daw front/back focusing issue. mopalitay ra ba ko ani da. hinay sad daw ang focus ani. naka experience ka TS? how about focusing on low light? ok ra?

so far sa akoang copy was fast, my friend has one in his d700 and i was able to use it a couple of months ago, that's the reason i acquired this lens, low light yep there will be times na hinay sya, but ngitngit na kaayu, i'll upload other night shots later... ok sya for mid range / budget wise / sharp alternative lens sa nikkor 24-70 f2.8.

OT: Bro Jeps, ask lang ko nimo, if naa ka 10-20mm nga lens ba mukuha pa ka ug 17-50? or 28 to 75mm nalng?
Ok ra ba ni sa d7k na body bro? Pasensya bro naignoy jud ko ani.

If naa ko 10-20, derecho na lang 28-75, mas layo man ang focal length, gamay lng difference sa price, pwede pa pang full frame ang 28-75, ma-overlap pa ang 10-20 sa 17-50. I suggest na derecho na ka 28-75, naay nagbaligya ng 28-75 sa buy and sell barato lang, 12.5k, si "businessmind",

I don't know him but I think his rep is good since daghan naman sya nabaligya sa istorya, but if you want to buy his, I suggest test, test and test.

I will be testing the 28-75 tomorrow sa new D7000 ko, hehehe... I'll post once maka-shoot ako.
