    From a management perspective, I would also do the same (maybe not terminate the nurses but I will definitely give them sanctions like suspensions or something) Why? You represent the company, you are part of the company...and yet you take it so easily to spread negative comments in a public venue.
    But a due process will still be the most legitimate step. No matter what type of offense made, all employers will still follow the due process for termination.

    If your face doesn't fit, if a decision has been made to replace you then FB is just another way for HR to purge themselves. Basically I think that social media should be off-limits to management in terms of worker monitoring. We all need space to vent in this crazy stressed-out world and not everyone is savvy enough to restrict access to their accounts.
