Can you upgrade your Gingerbrea to ICS?

What I have read from cyanogenmod and htc, the general rule is your phone needs to have at least 512mb for it to be upgradable to ICS and JB. You may check your phone specs.

Question, kung rooted na imo fone, then nag upgrade ka thru FOTA or official ICS for your phone, mawala ang root?

Nahan unta nako update ang Note sa ako friend to ICS, pero hadlok man oi. Wala pa pud official ata ang Samsung... or naa na ba?

not quite.. still rooted ghapon imong phone.. nag try ko thru KIES sa PC.. na retain raman ghapon ang root sa akong phone after.

that's good to hear.. pero hadlok jud ko mu try although tempting to upgrade to ICS. if it was mine, I would do it right away, like I did with my Psp, Wii and Xperia Mini.. hehe

You can flash the official ICS ROM for Galaxy Note(International). If you know what you're doing, dili na ma brick imo phone.

please pm me kay bag-o lng jud ko aning samsung galaxy note 1, nya korea daw ni cya gikan, na try nako ug factory reset ug maayu nlng kay nadala ra ug taghap2..and i want to upgrade it from gingerbread 2.3.6 padong sa available nga ICS..can i ask for help kung unsa ang mga info kung pwede ba cya ma-upgrade? and what are the do's and dont's if mag-upgrade ko before and after..salamat daan

Unsa mana nga unit master? Kanang eclair og froyo kai ROMs japon na or android OS. same sa gingerbread ug ics.
