Bro akoa na gi site sa akoang previous reply..basaha daw ug tarong para kasabot ka. Anyway, malas nalang sa RN's who commented negatively about their employer. In the end and let me repeat what I said before "you do not bite the hand that feeds you"

In truth, dakong sayop ang gibuhat sa staff to air out the negative comments on facebook. Most specially that he represents the company!

So to those who disagree, well inyo sad na.... this hospital will not close down simply because they terminated staffs that doesn't know how to respect company policies.

Due to political reasons, the Cayetanos can't handle "constructive criticisms" regarding the CONCERNS OF CT SCAN/O2 in Pateros Taguig Hospital. I believed the posts were intended just for the HOSPITAL WELFARE.

Obviously, the administration exercised the abuse of authority. They FEARED might lose the forthcoming election. Terminating without warning, explanation and due process. It's highly unethical. The volunteer doctor who raised concerns to a social media was not even barred. "To think siya unta angay ipaterminate ky nagpost siya ug comment sa FB LOL."

“Instead of focusing on their work and cooperating and supporting the TPDH management’s various efforts at improving the hospital’s frontline services, these terminated personnel have manifested blatant disobedience and disregard of authority and protocols, engaged in sowing intrigues and encouraged discontent among the hospital’s staff and personnel.”

In what sense? Liking on a FB status of a volunteer doctor? How come their evaluation sets as "Satisfactory"? This statement implies CIVIL disobedience. Actually, the mayor DENIED that the termination was due to FB like status and it was made to appear as an excuse ground for termination but in profound thought, for me it's considered NURSE EXPLOITATION.

Under nursing ethics, we have principles of health care. Autonomy is one nursing ethical principle where nurses focused on nurse-patient relationship. They work independently for the contribution of the health team. We have also Nursing Act/Laws to adhere. It will only perceived as disobedience when the patient's bill of rights have been violated. Nurses obey doctors orders. The general hospital policies/protocols are mostly made for patients care. Administration and nursing service have separate departments with different guidelines.

With this issue, "naay unclear policies ug regulations anang hospitala dapat ilevel up ang ila standards. Dili makarelate ang uban ani kay dili sila nurse gibase ra sa company policy unya ingun dayun ug fair/valid or just ang excuse". Ok ranang iterminate basta ihatag lang nila ang COE.

You can rule out politics over this issue. Why? A mere nurse to cause that much controversy for this election over the facebook post? I don't think so! Black propaganda goes way deep than that.

As for company policies, oh yes their administration has the right to terminate them due to the RN's unethical behavior towards its administration as well. And yes mind you, that was clearly UNETHICAL for these RN's to resort to the online realm to air out their company's internal initiatives/controversies/issues.

I do not question the administration for terminating theses personnel. But not releasing the COE's is another story, another black eye for these terminated staffs is their 201 file from this employer. They may receive the COE, but their 201 file will definitely have a red mark written on it.

The volunteer doctor posted the criticism on facebook. Nurses only liked the status as a form of support.
The criticisms made by the doctor was just a concern for the hospital welfare and patients. I think there's no intent for black propaganda against the administration as well as the Taguig government. They perceived it as oppressive violation.

It's all about the CT Scan, it's electrical consumption, no bililight (this is used for phototherapy in infants with physiologic jaundice), no continuous oxygen needed for dyspneic patients. It is their main function to allocate budget for providing supplies; aiming to improve the quality health care or else patients will suffer.

Bottomline question: "Where's the budget alloted for the hospital health supplies"

"Gitake unta nila as constructive criticism, ilang gilihok ang problem. Siguro walay communication anang hospitala. Wala minawa ang mga concerns mao na ang doctor nalang nipost sa facebook. Siya man unta ang main culprit. Siya ang i.terminate unta, dili ang mga nurses. Damay ra ang mga nurses kay ni like. Concern ang mga nurses sa ilang gitrabahuan. Hadlok lang madaot si Mayor Cayetano kay basin dili na siya ibotar inig coming election tungod ana. Nangumpanya in advance na gani siya sa Kris TV before the incident. She's the wife of Senator A. Cayetano who voted in favor of the Cybercrime law. Klaro kaayu nga dumot si Mayor nila LOL kay giterminate sila WITHOUT warning, explanation or due process. Dili pa gyud irelease ang COE..Tsk tsk"

Yes, that's possible. I really doubt that these nurses will get a derogatory remark upon the issuance of COE.

I agree with internet etiquette, but I think we should also have a medium for expressing our thoughts. There's no freedom here.
