Sure ko boss, dili man ko toud ko expert about network security since wala man ko nakapractice ani na field(by the way, I'm an IT grad & finished all 4 modules of CNAP). Kung accessible lang ang pc/server from the inside, pwede man sad ang social engineering. I'm not sure, kung effective pa ba kaha karon with the recent security technologies(CCTVs, biometric/retina scan & etc.). I still believe that modern hackers/crackers can still find a way to break the system. It may take days, weeks, months or years pero dili imposible. Pasalamat na lang ta sa mga white hats, nagsige provide network security tools/apps/patches sa atoa in anticipation for any security glitches na pwede ma-exploit sa mga black hats to gain anauthorized access.

Yes I agree, dili mahack ang usa ka system with internet alone. Nagkinahanglan gihapon na sa ayuda sa ubang apps ug tools. Pero dili ra man sad sa mga pirated softwares makuha or ma-plant ang mga backdoors/security threats. Pwede man sad makahimo og worm or virus na ipa-agi via emails. Ang challenge lang, to make the attachment na dili madetect sa email security.

Pero dili sad maka-gain og remote connection ang hacker/cracker kung dili connected sa internet ang targetted computer/server. Imagina lang kung ang usa ka hacker, tagaan og pc nya walay phoneline or 3g/wireless broadband connection. Kung makaconnect ba cya, bisan unsa pa ka maayong laki, dili gyud na makaconnect.

Sa pagkakaron, wala pa pero puhon makadungog ra unya ka. Dili pa fully computerized ang atoa internal gov't networks. Ug wala pa sad mga sensitive infos, na pwede makuha(i think?). Pero in the future with the ongoing computerization projects, magkadaghan sad ang mga incidents na manghitabo sa atoang mga government agencies. Samot na walay preventive measures na himoun ang atoa gov't. Ang US gani na dako og budget mahack pa man gani ang mga system, sa Pinas pa kaha.
