this series has got a great plot. great cast. i love this show that even though ive seen the ending and hate it i still watch it. it justhas so many kilig, funny and drama moments.

hehehe nice sad ayo ni ang stairway to heaven grabe kaayo the moment nila. not my type of how a story should end but its pretty good. the moment scenes makes up for it.

too badd there's no english subtitle yet that has been released for save the last dance=( only chinese subs=( huhuhuhuhu

Cholo is the only son of a wealthy family. Jodie is Cholo’s childhood friend, and they were there for each other when one of their respective parents passed away. They spent a lot time together, playing, and sharing their inner most thoughts. When Jodie’s father re-married Maita, Maita brought her children Tristan and Eunice from her previous marriage. That marked the end of Jodie’s happy days. Eunice was jealous of the privileged life that Jodie led, and vowed to take everything away from Jodie, including Cholo. When Cholo left for his studies in the U.S., he gave Jodie a necklace as a gift of his love.

On Tristan’s birthday, Jodie gave him a birthday present. Tristan mistook Jodie’s kindness as love, and he fell head over heels in love with her. Jodie never accepted Tristan as her heart is with Cholo, but Tristan became Jodie’s soulmate after Cholo left as she weathers life under the tyranny of Maita and Eunice.

Cholo returns 3 years later from his studies and calls Jodie to meet him. Eunice runs Jodie down with her car in a mad bid to stop Jodie from her rendezvous with Cholo. In her state of panic, Eunice sends a bloodied Jodie to her own father’s place. Tristan tracks Jodie down and takes care for her. Jodie survives the accident but forgets everything about the past. Tristan decides to start life afresh with Jodie by giving her a new identity as Jenna.

Cholo thinks Jodie has died, and is heartbroken. He returns 5 years later with Eunice from the US. He can’t forget Jodie, but feels obligated to Eunice, who’s stayed with him for the past few years. He agrees to his mother's arrangement to marry Eunice.
On their engagement day, Cholo sees Jenna on the carousel and runs madly after her, only to realize that the person with the same face as Jodie has no memory or collection of her identity as Jodie, or of him Cholo. Jenna is a fashion designer and is in a relationship with Tristan.

Cholo goes on a mission to prove that Jenna is Jodie. Jenna is confused by Cholo’s action, but she is also touched by his actions for Jodie.

Jodie finally remembers the past and is angry at Tristan for what he did. But she is torn as she is still emotionally attached to Tristan, and is touched by the care and love that he has showered her all that time when Cholo was not there. Cholo is also torn as he is to be engaged to Eunice, and his family’s reputation is at stake if he does not follow as planned.

Cholo decides to give up his family business and goes against his mother’s wishes to be with Jodie. But Jodie knows that one of Cholo’s aspirations is to expand and scale his family’s corporation to greater heights. She asks Cholo to go back, and promises to wait for him.

Unfortunately, Jodie finds out that she has cancer of the eye. She decides to leave Cholo, and she takes refuge with Tristan. Cholo is tipped off by Tristan, and both men beg Jodie to seek treatment and fight to live despite the devastating odds. Jodie eventually agrees. She has a successful treatment but she continues to be in danger should the cancer cells move to another major organ.

Cholo invites all to his wedding, without announcing who the bride will be. Tristan brings a blind Jodie to the wedding, much to the surprise of Maita and Eunice. At the same occasion, Tristan breaks the news to all about the accident and both Eunice and Maita are taken away. Jodie changes her mind, and says “Yes” at the altar.

Tristan sees Jodie happily married, but is sad that she is not able to see the world anymore. He decides to donate his cornea to her but the doctors refuse to perform the operation and tell him that they don’t remove corneas for implants from a living person. Tristan commits suicide in a car accident to leave his cornea for Jodie. Jodie regains her eye sight and tells Cholo her desire to live.

Unfortunately Jodie’s cancer cells have moved to her brain and she is dying…..
