@bryanarzaga, here's my comments as you've requested.
IMHO, it seems that you don't give justice to these great songs. overall, it lacks power and clarity. lower harmonics of the guitars are interfering with the bass. this is the reason why your bass lacks clarity. sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. Also, i can hear pumping specially during fortissimo passages. this is due to not well define compression. the expected power of the kick is not there. the snare is not rocking. vocals is very metallic. instruments needs some compression because sometimes it jumps out when not expected. also, reverb is overly done. the reverb sounds like a lexicon reverb.
are you using sonar 6?

bai ngutana pud ko vah, namo idea g unsa pag mix ang kang Oekseana Cheepelyk's nga pwerte mang nindutah. artist na siya bai ukrainian. i've seen her live in london. she sings in 3 different tones at the same time. does this mean that she's gonna use 3 mics during recording? she did it on live.thanks

I've noticed here in cebu recording or band practise, no metronome is employed. this tool is often taken for granted here in cebu during recording and practise. tempo consistency also contributes to the whole feel/vibe of the music.Originally Posted by bryanarzaga
yup thats true no metronome is used kai dli sila ganahan sa click track, or metronome mag tik tik tik, sonar 6 audio' snap is not that great, the best way jud is to record it with a metronome, i tried using audio snap..hardly ma notice sa band pero f ikaw ga edit malud an jud ka, a mistake i will minimize doing is using matching eq from other songs, lagi its fun sometimes pero..Yes maka daot jud sa mix.. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: thanx again,
@ bryanarzaga,
My sample mixing and mastering, http://www.sendmefile.com/00514347 . This is a my re-engineering(mixing and mastering) of this material which is orignally done by Anthony Egizii. Note that this is a hypercompress material but I'm able to preserve the transients and power. :mrgreen:
