The ink of the agreement has't dried yet, and there's already the splinter group led by Umra Kato saying they are not interested in the agreement:

"The splinter group Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM) declared that they are not interested with the recent development that aims at ending a decades-long separatist insurgency in the south of the country,

In a phone interview with Rappler on October 7, BIFM spokesman Abu Misry Mama said that they are firm in their position in not compromising the call of the Moro people for a separate Bangsamoro state.

“We do not care if the government and the MILF would reach an agreement. We do not want the Bangsamoro entity or whatever they may call it,” Mama said."
BIFM insists on separate Bangsamoro state

What's to stop this group from becoming what MILF is now when the government dealt with the MNLF?

Then there is the constitutionality of the agreement as raised by senator santiago:
Miriam concerned over PH-MILF framework accord | ABS-CBN News

MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago on Monday expressed concern over constitutional amendments required by the framework agreement of the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

Santiago, chair of the Senate committee on constitutional amendments, said the Constitution needs to be amended to fulfill the agreement's provisions granting the Bangsamoro state a ministerial form of government and making it a "sub-state."

The creation of the Bangsamoro's Basic Law would also call for constitutional amendment, she added.

"Our negotiators have tied our government and the hands of the Filipino public with respect to these amendments," Santiago told reporters. "If we do not pass these amendments, then the framework agreement will be discarded, and then we'll probably be made to answer why we are responsible for making it a failure. That's not fair to the Filipino public."

In effect, Santiago added, the framework agreement makes the Constitution the subject of a treaty.

"I am very, very concerned. Our own Constitution is being the subject of a treaty. Since when did a foreign entity have the power to compel our people to pass amendments to our Constitution?" she said.

Santiago said she won't file a petition before the Supreme Court questioning the agreement and will wait for others to do it because she will part of legislative deliberations on the matter.

However, she vowed to stand against the agreement when it reaches the Senate.

    -------

One thing very striking in the agreement is that it was made "in accordance with the agreement of both parties" when it should have been better said "in accordance with the Philippine Constitution". Mura man ug silasila ra ang gasabot.

Will peace be now within reach with this agreement? Both the government and the MILF(with th newly formed Bangsamoro) seem to find the agreement positive. What is your take on this?
LOL, I doubt it's a strategic form of secession but anyway, we'll see this framework agreement for a year towards enduring peace. With this agreement, do they now take control of the Abu Sayaffs?

nop, nahitabu na ni sa una

from MNLF nagka "peace" kuno with the establishment of ARMM, but some members of the MNLF brokeaway and form MILF.
Now its MILF turn with the Bangsamoro agreement, but the BIF (Bangsamoro Islamic forces) brokeaway from MILF to fight against GPH..

same pattern as the last time.
