Hi istoryans.

I just got operated sa last week kay naa man ko ovarian cyst. Na use na nako akong sick leaves last week and vacation leaves for this week. but then advised to rest pa man gihapon ko sa doctor ug 1-2 months. wala na koy leave credits. ingon pa jud akong manager before the surgery nga advised to resign daw ko. im not gonna resign since its a major operation. ingon sha i no longer have leave credits. ako sha giingnan nga basin pwede ra ko mag leave without pay. insist jud sha ug resign maski gipasabot na nako sha ug nag beg jud ko. iya gi verify sa among HR then ana sha pwede ra daw ko mag LWOP. After the surgery ako nay ni insist sa akong obgyne nga 2 weeks rest post-operation nlng ko para wala nay hasol from the manager. anyways kaya naman nako mag lakaw2x.

Since wala naan ko leave credits and para mabayran ko sa akong LWOP, pwede ba ko mag file ug SSS Sickness? 2 weeks ra man gud. Please help. Thanks.

dapat mangayu ka ug sss sickness form sa inyo hr, then imo na pa fill-upan sa doctor, after ana e attached nmo imo medical certificate, pwede gani 1 month ibutang sa doctor, and then inig file sa sss,ang doctor sa sss maoy mo butang kung pla ka days ka pwede mo leave...

yeah ana ako ob nga pwede daw 2 months kay major operation man ni akoa but ako nlng nihangyo ug 2 weeks nlng ky hasol kaayo ang manager. cge thanks ha..

Unsa na imong HR laki? Ingna na siya if aware ba siya sa RA 9710, Magna Carta of Women. Please search for more info if qualified ba ka. Entitled ka ug 2 month salary. I've heard of it, the company is entitled to pay you. Sakto jud na ilang advise sad sa taas mag SSS Sickness Notification ka aron mabayran sa SSS imong absences. Dili man ta pwede magdouble compensation meaning dili pwede bayran ka anang adlawa sa SSS and at the same time magfile ug leave sa company. So kung hurot na ang Leave ang SSS na ang gamiton.

Pwede na nimo mareklamo sa DOLE kung advise to resign ka.

As per RA 9710 Sec 18.

SEC. 18. Special Leave Benefits for Women. – A woman employee
having rendered continuous aggregate employment service of at least six (6)
months for the last twelve (12) months shall be entitled to a special leave
benefit of two (2) months with full pay based on her gross monthly
compensation following surgery caused by gynecological disorders.

Ireklamo na uie.. Benefit bya nmu nah.. nagbayad kag saktong TAX sa gobyerno.. ayaw pod ng 2 weeks leave uie, mabughat pa hinoon ka ana sis. dugang problema napod na nimo..
