during the first wave of attack majority of the site went down... wala na deface.... like i said on my post some did get through... probably compromised account.... based from my experienced where we received constant hacking/probing/ddosing sa amoa site.... most of them uses social engineering and malware.... thats why we discourage use of PC in our network to access ftp.... i used either terminal or fireftp.... so far mac/unix system wala pa mi naka sugat ug infection...

you have to understand that most hosting provider had implemented security protocol to prevent force entry on their server.... thats how anons use to hacked HB Garry... social engineering... lulzsec also uses that way...

defacing a site is very easy once you gain access to the ftp account... while ddosing doesnt need access just few information lang (witheld)

a good hacker knows how to hide its footprint... if na trace down sila... then they are just scriptkiddies
