BUT, you know what's worse (and perhaps amusing to a certain extent)? If iStorya.net admins refuse to delete down all posts related to the original libelous remark, Beor/Galadriel/Vern will go to jail! I'm not kidding--that's basically what this new law says! Because iStorya.net owners/administrators allowed publication of the libelous post!

I am not a citizen of the Philippines and I do not live in the Philippines so I don't see in what situation I would go to jail. So please, if you have shit to say about any of these Philippine political jockstraps, send me a message and I'll post it.

Lets not forget than even though the majority of people on this forum are Filipinos or in the Philippines, I am neither. It'd be reasonable for me to take heat and not have any consequences. The server is also not in the Philippines and would be out of reach for any Filipino authority. What if I simply took responsibility for the server? ... what could Philippine law do? Nothing. They cannot force me to reveal any of the users identity. They cannot extradite me when free speech is strictly protected in US law. Nothing.
