My solution for gaining weight, (I also hit the gym)
I guess this is just easy formula:
1. Consume Four 1-kilo bags of Oatmeal a week. = about 600g of oats / day = about 2000 calories from oats. divide it 5 servings a day, 2.5hrs apart
2. Take 4 scoops of whey / day. that's about 100g of protein
3. 2 tablespoons of Olive oil / day = 240 calories
How to prepare the oatmeal-whey shake? mix an amount of whey to 1 cup of oatmeal in a large glass. fill with water and mix. drink it. it's not that bad. 90 mins is the digestion time of oatmeal. you will feel full and sleepy within that period.
do it for the next 30 days. i think 10lbs gain is just an easy hit. you will gain some fat.
Do i still have to eat my usual meals? With that quantity. No. That's almost 3000 calories/day.
What If i wan't to eat my usual meals? No problem. take your usual meals and reduce the oatmeal-whey intake/
What if i get too fat? Reduce the amount of oatmeal / maintain the whey. Wait for few weeks until you get rid of the excess fat.
What if i just gained fat no muscle tone? Hit the gym
