Why don't we all go watch this in SM, showing for 1 week stating today then decide for ourselves.
I have heard stories that Paco was a little bit "bad boy" and naughty when he was still in high school, so I firmly believe that he is NOT a 100% God fearing, 100% law abiding citizen. He was also a friend or barkada with the Aznars.
But concerning towards his involvement with the Chiong Case, I am not totally convinced that he was a part of it. As well as, I am not towards his innocence.
My friend saw the movie last week he told me an interesting bit of info. The reason that these kids were put together as the accused was that they were randonmly picked out from a list of juvenile delinquents that the NBI keeps. He told me to watch and watch for the part where the then NBI Director and the Agent who came up with the list respond, interestingly different responses.
As for God fearing that is the beauty of Christianity. You can be the vilest person on earth but when something changes you, God accepts you for what you are now. Paul and Matthew are great examples.
korek, murag ila ra gipakita ang ila side of the story![]()
... we need to hear the actual testimonies of his companions while he was still in Manila (... if given the benefit of the doubt).
Plane tickets and receipts can easily be fabricated, especially if you have the power and influence at your side.
The FB page of his teacher in Manila categorically states he was there 9am the next morning to take his exam. There are witnesses who were not allowed to testify by the judge (see my earlier post) that they were with him til at least 2AM. Of course these are his friends and teachers, but all 30+ of them were willing to lie under oath if they had been given the opportunity?
That would have given him 7 hours to go to the airport, fly to Cebu (by private plane I presume because there is no evidence of tickets, and even private planes have to submit a passenger manifesto-pwede siguro fake name?), join the rape, fly back to Manila to take his exam.
Even if that did occur it would be strange because the testimony of the sole eye/state witness, upon which the entire case is based on, claims he was there WITH PACO during the abduction.
So either the lone state witness who was already in detention for another offense suddenly popped up out of nowhere to testify is lying or 30+ people (who were not allowed to testify) are.
I'm sure the movie will have a bias towards Paco but I will watch with that in mind and still go. I will base my additional thoughts on what is presented.
Or I could be just like most posters here and say he is guilty kay dato man![]()
if you guys only knw the real story behind this case, klaro kaayong luto na daan na kaso. tsk tsk luoya sa na pasanginlan
saw the movie a month ago, wala koy masulti sa ka bias diay sa judge ani. I didn't pay much attention to this case then, because just like everyone else I already assumed that this guys were guilty. but now..... man grabe i cannot believe how this case was handled.
