In the middle of a busy morning, Meredith must deal with having balance doing all of the parenting for Zola because Derek has a lecture in Boston; On her way to work, she comes across an accident and rushes to help, finding that a woman has been run over and has the exact same symptoms as Lexie did when they were trapped in the woods. Cristina begins to worry about Dr. Thomas being fired when Dr. Parker comes into their surgery and begins ordering them around and puts him on probation. Meredith and Cristina stay on the phone all night trying to help each other through their hard days. In their own surgeries, Meredith tries hard to find what is causing the bleeding in her patient and eventually finds it; but for Cristina, Dr. Thomas has a heart attack in the middle of their surgery and she is forced to finish on her own and try to save his life. After their surgeries, Dr. Thomas passes away, and Meredith's patient lives leaving Meredith missing her sister; When Meredith is home with Zola, she goes to the door to find Cristina took a plane to see her and that she decided to come back to Seattle.

Guess, meredith and Christina will be working back together.
