The
Sixers are on a roll!!! Andre Iguadala scored 31 points to lead the
Philadelphia 76ers past the struggling
Los Angeles Lakers, 108-92, and claim their
sixth straight win. I guess, compared to Milwaukee, the Sixers has the higher chance to grab that 8th spot in the East for the playoffs.
The
Detroit Pistons won over the
Nuggets at Denver, and, in return, will miss Rasheed Wallace for their next game.
Wallace picked up his 16th technical foul of the season -- incurring an automatic one-game suspension. Chris Webber had 20 and 'Sheed had 17 for the Pistons, who held Nuggets' Melo and AI to 17 and 19 points, respectively.
Talking about number six's... the
Atlanta Hawks didn't freak out about Joe Johnson's injury. They were able to hold on for a 106-105 win against the
Memphis Grizzlies, who have
lost six straight. The Joshes, Smith and Childress had 20 and 17, respectively, for the Hawks for their second straight win.
The
Phoenix Suns barely escaped the sting of the
New Orleans Hornets. The Suns were able to withstand a late fourth quarter surge by the Hornets to hang on and hand the Hornets'
fourth straight loss.
@Makoy: Hapit jud mapilde sa Hornets and Suns if not to West and Chandler's miscommunication:
The Hornets finished with a 10-1 run and had a chance to win, but David West threw up what looked like a 9-foot hook shot that never found the rim.
Afterward, though, West said he was trying to pass the ball to Tyson Chandler, who also thought it was a shot.
Tsk, tsk. Bag-o pa man sa rotation si Chandler gud, then David West just came from his injury, so lapses and mistakes can happen. Good thing they brought a stiff contest vs. the powerhouse Suns though.

BILLUPS WOULD WELCOME A SIGN-AND-TRADE DEAL TO DENVER
Chauncey Billups, who has a player option this coming offseason and the consensus No. 1 free agent, says he would welcome a sign-and-trade to get to Denver. Adding it to his options, the Nuggets, who is bound by salary cap restrictions and is hesitant to pay luxury tax, would have to give up Marcus Camby or Nene Hilario to get Mr. Big Shot.
Few teams like Charlotte, Memphis and Atlanta can give Billups his high pay.
