    I thought Exodus 20:4 says:
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Tsk, tsk, tsk....as long as business is good, we can ignore that one, right?

Up until now, I am still wondering whether my Bible is the same Bible being used by them. Exodus 20:4 is clear enough NOT to be misunderstood, so defying it must be deliberate, which makes it even worse.

Exodus 20:24 "'Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.
    OT:
Ang akong Bible kay ang Recovery Version.

    Exodus 20:4
You shall not make for yourself an idol, nor the form of anything that is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water beneath the earth.

Ug atong isumpay ang sugod sa 20:5 which is relevant pud... 'You shall not bow down to them, and you shall not serve them; ....'

Exodus 20:24 An altar of earth you shall make for Me, and shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, you sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.

Ang Altar within the context sa Old Testament is a like a table wherein offerings for God are made (for Me and sacrifice on it.... ). Dili ni siya sama sa altar nato karon nga gi.associate na nga butanganan ug mga idols kun diin ang believers mu.'bow down' in prayer and worship.

    OnT:

This topic is not about Religion, but just the fact that Ivory is rampantly being smuggled into and out of the country which is devastating, to say the least to the population of elephants in africa and elsewhere. These are then carved mostly into religious icons and patronized by those who can afford it - even if they very well know it is wrong. This should STOP!

Hinimo mana sa tawo bro or nag translate ana kay bias. Natural pabor gyud niya ang iyang sulat aron maka kwarta.

Kaning man gud mga relihiyon karon manag lalis kay copetensiya-ay man gud ni sila aron maka tapok ug daghan tawo. Now, the more daghan tawo, the more daghan kwarta kay kada usa kono nato dapat mohatag ug kwarta. And naka daut man gud ani nila kay isig panaway sa usa ka relihiyon pud, isig bantaya'y sa sayop sa usa o sa ubang mga sayop. Akong nasabtan na tawo lamang kita subject to imperfection ang tawo. Kani pud sige'g panaway wala sad tan-awa ilang kaugalingon tugkaran.
