if money is not a limitation between the two and you'll dedicate your rig for video editing and any software that will utilize nvidia's cuda, between the 2 choices, buy the quadro k5000...

you can do gaming on the quadro but not as fast as the GTX680 though... but your eyes and brain can not distinguish the frame rate difference. only the bench marking software can... hehehe...
