France and Spain for the win!![]()
Yup, 2 Days in Paris & Father of My Children are good. I haven't seen the one from Spain.
The one from Austria called "Breathing" is also good.
Of course "The Last Emperor" is a classic Bertolucci, it's a great film, and I wanted to watch it last night on the big screen, but I didn't get to.
I'm going to catch the screening of the Swedish movie "Everlasting Moments."
"Senna" is also an interesting documentary on one of the best Formula One racers.

I saw "Everlasting Moments" last night and furiously HATED the projection of a very poor DVD. Unfortunately, this distracted me from the movie and my memories of it are of a convoluted plot and underdeveloped characters. I don't know if this is really the case for the movie.
I thought the movie could have been told with 30 minutes less of running time by forgoing the redundant scenes of Maria's suffering. I also didn't find a profound attachment between Maria and the camera. All the 7 children are interchangeable. Maja was highlighted but even her character was not sufficiently developed. Sigge, the husband, was okay but would have helped if the movie focused on how he changed. Because at the end, it seemed just like a snap that he changed for the good. Anyways, enough of the bad points because I did like how it ended. Oh well. All's well that end's well...
Did any of you guys see this and would you say that my reaction of the movie is not far-fetched? haha
