    giving alms specially money is not good.. naa natay law nga di dapat ni sila hatagan...

    It is not wrong to give. What's wrong is when people knew that they've been abused through this nature but still continuing to give.

    A lot of kids (not just street kids) when they see a foreigner they immediately say "hey Joe, give me some money". It's embarrassing that their parents or whoever indoctrinates them with this money for nothing mindset and it trivializes the genuine cases of poverty and misfortune, even making cynics out of otherwise compassionate people.

    usa sa mga comments ni sa mga amigo nako nga foreigner kining mangayuay og kwarta sa kadalanan . paints a bad picture of our govt and nation as a whole.

    yeap, especially if naanad sila na kana na lugar naa jud muhatag sa ila. but you just can't help but feel depressed seeing people in those situations. makes you wonder where did our taxes go and is the phl economy doing really any better?
