Politicians attack each others' character all time. It is up to us to separate the chaff from the grains, difficult as it may be with all the lies and half truths. While we may take sides on who is worse in this situation, fact is, they're both bad. The only good thing about politicians fighting each other is that both their stench comes out and plenty of events or lies or truths that are hidden become exposed. In this case for instance, we wouldn't have known the 'supposed' intervention of the former president in this CamSur issue which is worth looking into further. Neither would we have known this back channel negotiations with china which is just as or an even more delicate situation. Now it's our turn to critically analyze the whole scenario and decide for ourselves who gets our vote in the upcoming elections, the bully's son or the mutineer. If you don't like either, choose wisely as there are plenty more upcoming choices.

-senators and even private citizens like businessmen can be tapped to handle negotiations or dealings with other countries.

-Dont know how Enrile got hold of those confidential documents or whether he has clearance to access them but announcing it in public session gives a bad impression to the Chinese and may have affected negotiations between China and Phil.

-In case you dint know, most people here voted for other candidates and will link anything negative towards the current president so they can say that their candidate was the better choice.

If dili gyud to tinuod ang storya ni Trillanes, JPE could have answered him back that his accusations are baseless or he could have challenged Trillanes by demanding proof sa iyang accusations...

But What did he do? Iya gi divert ang issue... Now people suddenly forgot about what Trillanes was talking about unya ang issue na kay ang scarborough and China....

As I said, BOTH issues should be dealt with SEPARATELY... dili sagol sagolon para libog sa mga tao.


Trillanes wasn't even given an opportunity to present evidence to backup his story (kay gi divert lagi ang issue)... pero sa kang JPE nga side, Traitor na daw si Trillanes just coz he met with some Chinese.

Ang pangutana... unsay tawag nato ni Enrile nga mu read ug mga Top Secret documents in public? He could have atleast done that in a closed door session. Klaro kaayo nga squid tactic to get peoples attention away from his dealings with the Villafuertes and Arroyos.

I may be wrong but i think Enrile made his own summary of ambassador Brady's notes and highlighted only the points that were damaging to Trillanes, without exposing other sensitive matters. Admittedly, it was a masterful way of diverting attention from himself. But Trillanes likewise may have been using the GMA lackey thing to also divert attention from his 'foreign affairs' stint which was earlier exposed through media too. This is just like the 'pot calling the kettle black' with a different twist. I think both these senators did wrong and by their actions it is us who get the brunt. So what else is new.

Btw, Trillanes walked out. He could have stayed to present evidence if there was any. You can now see how scheming the old and seasoned senator is compared to the young arrogant neophyte.

i thought of this one too. mentioning GMA's name is a good diversionary tactic to issues that might surface in which Trillanes, as a military man, masterfully used. And this caused the ire of JPE since being dragged with GMA is not a good thing for him. nobody wants to get tied with the former president.

I think both these senators did wrong and by their actions it is us who get the brunt. So what else is new..

How is it top secret? Diri lang daan sayop na imong argument. You can't even prove your allegation that he is conniving with Villafuerte and Arroyo.

And how was Trillanes not given an opportunity when what he did the first thing he left the podium was to leave the room? hehehe. If he has evidence then he would have already divulged it in media. Fact is he has none.

Pnoy hasn't even given a valid explanation to accusations he is retarded. He looks the part and he plays it well but why in 2 years time there has been no explanation? When you allege something you must be able to prove it.
