^sis, as far as i know, cetaphil is not intended to treat acne scars. it's just a very mild cleanser intended for sensitive skin. the reason why most recommend this is bec. it doesn't easily irritate the skin unlike other cleansers with harsh ingredients that will only aggravate your skin problem like acne. however, it has no wonders to treat acne or fade scars. for active acne, i think products with salicylic acid, sulfur, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic and tretinoin works well.
if scars are your issue (like me), you need more aggressive treatment like chemical peeling/microdermabrasion/laser or lightening/bleaching agents for spot treatment. it would be best to consult a dermatologist. it would also help if you research sa net what works for you. that's what i am doing now.. research2x ako-a .. so far naa man minimal results but no drastic change. be careful though what u apply sa face kay sa una nasunog pud ako nawng by self-medicating using a bleaching cream. samot nuon ako skin problem! maygani karon ni fade na gamay ang scars but still visible. anyway, patience lang jud to see results.
