i have a wii,...the reason why i only bought it really was because of brawl...toon link!...is there anyone here that just owns a wii by itself? i'm just curious to know cause the people i know that have a wii always either has a ps3 or xbox360...including my self...

Ako, Wii pa man akong 7th gen. nganhi sa balay. Wala pa koy Xbox360 or PS3 pa sad but I'm planning on getting one this coming October, pili-an pa nako kung asay sensible and ideal sa akong taste.

When it comes to consoles, I just don't buy it just because everyone has it (impluse buying) I let it simmer for a while--kana bitaw "test the waters" nga style man ko basta mupalit kog consoles. Believe it or not, I got my Wii this year pa gani PERO I made sure it is the SPECIFIC model I wanted. I am very critical when it comes to the condition, model no., make and version of consoles man gud. It is because I do research beforehand sad. The price will always be the last thing I think about.
Right now, I'm still researching about both PS3 and Xbox 360, talked to some owners, looked for flaws. . .research is key.

I think that's probably why I see a lot of pulsing when it comes to consumer purchase on consoles. Dali ra kaayo i-discard ang katong tuga2x palit just because "it's the latest model" or "I just want to be the first" concept of some consumers. EVEN the games themselves sad, I really don't buy it ahead just because you get to play it firsthand and "it's new" or "the latest". Remember that eventually EVERYBODY else will get the chance to play it. Besides, UNSAY NAA kon "who played what game first" anyway?? I never really understood it if some gamer comes up to me and says, "bai, dula ani nga game kay latest pa ni siya nya dili ka IN kung dili ka mudula ani" Unsay naa kon bago siya or dili ko "In"? Will I get fined if I don't play this game in it's "latest" status? Seriously, I ran into those kind of people (basta anonymous) and I find it kind of silly, hehe

And that's why I don't feel afraid that I'm going to run out of those consoles or games. For me, it becomes a very good advantage.

I always keep in mind that "slow and steady really does win the race"

Wii - only 1 revision.. model in 2011 was gamecube feature was removed.. PERIOD.

PS3 - oh my god.. lots of revision. horrible hardware's first design.

XBOX - samot. pila na ka revision sa motherboard. hehehe.

After doing much research in my part gyud--I really can wait for the perfect opportunity. And then I pounce when I get the chance. It don't matter if takes me years to get that SPECIFIC console that I that I want, what matters is I can get it. I got all the time in the world (well, figuratively speaking anyway hehe) to get those consoles.

^^ Online ra siguro na bro. Been looking for the same thing locally but I haven't got any luck as well. Wii Component cables are easy to find tho, you can find them any game store in Cebu--even CDR King has those cables. But as for the Wii2HDMI well. . .you either go to Sulit and buy it there (at your own risk) OR go to Hongkong and buy it from there. I found one in Sulit ALTHOUGH I'm very hesitant by the looks of it. I'm just waiting for December when me and my folks would to HK and get it for myself. . .

I bet there are some Wii users who got the adapter but I dunno if they're selling it or not.

Ok2x thanx bro runforthehills, any way...nag cge pud ko pangita aning wii component, musta man ang output ani brod? nagpinangita pud ko ani gud, wala nay stock ang itech, cdr, ug freesoul ug component cables...
