JPE: Trillanes a 'Phantom of PH Politics'




MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile on Wednesday branded Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV a "fraud" and a "Phantom of Philippine Politics" for allegedly pushing for China's interests in the territorial row over West Philippine Sea.
Enrile read the alleged notes of Philippine Ambassador to China Sonia Brady that showed Trillanes allegedly met with Chinese officials secretly at least 16 times.
According to the notes, Trillanes allegedly accused Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario of committing treason for "internationalizing" the sea row.
It revealed Trillanes allegedly talked to businessman Manny V. Pangilinan to tell Del Rosario to tone down the rhetoric "since the two go a long way back."
Enrile said Trillanes allegedly wanted del Rosario replaced with Mar Roxas.

remember, part c Trillanes sa majority coalition as independent senator, just recently Trillanes joined NP, so Trillanes is under pressure from Villar.

to make Trillanes' move legit he accused JPE of Cam Sur issue, which in its form is valid, while on the other hand to discredit Trillanes, JPE accused Trillanes as a traitor.

..in short, this is just pure political circus..
