C bro kay mao na pag highschool nako. Anyway back on my highschool days my teacher told me that "kung kabaw ka sa programming sa computer mkabalos najud kag sugo sa computer.ehehe". mao ni naka inspire nako og nagka interest ko to become a programmer someday. With questions on my mind. G.unxa kaha nila pag buhat ang mga windows systems, websites, games, etc. mao to nag IT ko pag college then karon Web developer nako. ehehehe. . bitaw use words nga makacatch up sa attention imong students bro nya maka huna2 cla. kung wa ang programming way gadgets like Iphone, Samsung galaxy, etc. . I recommend C.

For my own opinion, pwede ra dle sa nimo e introduce ang programming language in highschool. Kay ang pinaka basic requirement mn gud aning programming is the programming solving skills. Enhance their logical thinking and give them more in analytical problems. Gamit sd ang basic concept sa mathematics.

I am a proponent of "Teach the programming skills/mindset first. Then, teach the language." For teaching programming skills/mindset, it's better to use something that has an easier syntax like Python or Ruby. Once they have the mind of a programmer, then you start giving them low-level languages like C or C++.

i agree with this. this should be the first, to give students a solid foundation before going to programming. at the very least, they should know flowcharting.
