adto ka sa inyong brgy health center, tagaan kag referal ana or i endorsed ka sa city health. first shot ana kay libre the rest bayad na tag 500++. mas cheaper ra compared sa mga hospitals
Any clinic can sort you out. It's a series of shots and you need to keep records. Much cheaper than the post-exposure treatment which (if bitten) must be done ASAP as once you show symptoms you are doomed.
tagaan pd ka nila ug tambal/antibiotic until the next scheduled for visit nimo. have patience lang kay sila mag buot when imo schedule for 1st shot,2nd shot until 4th shot man guro to.
Please be advised that you need to make sure na naay rabies ang dog that bit your friend because he might be worrying and getting shots for nothing. Inform your friend that he needs to observe the dog that bit him for 10 days from when he was bitten. If the dog was foaming in the mouth or being strangely aggressive when your friend was bitten, get shots immediately. If the dog does not get sick or does not show any unusual behavior for the next 10 days then your friend has nothing to worry about. Ask also why your friend was bitten: if he provoked the dog or he just got bit all of a sudden. If the dog that bit him can no longer be found, assume that it had rabies.
maau unta wa jud toi rabies ang iro.... kabasa bya ko nga wa daw cure ana or lisod na tambalan once mu gawas na mga symptoms.
Rabies doesn't always manifest itself as aggression, some animals will become extremely withdrawn. If bitten by an infected animal symptoms often occur within two weeks, but if bitten on the head , neck face it could be faster than that.
Better safe than sorry. Post exposure treatment needs to be done immediately.
*Reminder:
There is no cure for rabies. Once the virus has taken hold of your body you will die. If bitten by a strange animal you should seek treatment straight away as there is limited time to get post-exposure treatment to stop the virus.
Philippines is a rabies hotspot.

People bitten by rabid dogs need to get 2 kinds of multiple injections, both for fighting the rabies virus and also for conferring immunity agains the same virus
