Can anyone please help me with the step-by-step process in applying for marriage license?
What are the requirements? How much would it cost?
Any advice, suggestions or comments?
Please... I really need your help guys..
My wedding would already be this coming December 2012
but we have not started processing anything yet...

first thing to do : PREPARE ALL THE NECESSARY PERSONAL DOCUMENTS like: birht certificates,baptismal, brgy clearance, CENOMAR (certificate of no marrige), cedula etc. provide the original ang lots of photocopies kay daghan kaau kag tagaanan.
2nd : pa schedule mo for PRE MARRIGE COUNSELING adto na sa city health department. after the seminar they will give you certificate of attendace which will be needing for MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION..
3rd : if makuha na inyong marriage license usa pa mo magpa sked sa CHURCH

Where can we get the CENOMAR? and how much?

PAYMENT

1. e-Census accepts requests for delivery within and outside the Philippines.


• LOCAL REQUEST: delivery destination is within the Philippines; PHP 315.00 per copy for copy issuance of birth, marriage and death certificates, and PHP 415.00 per copy for Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR). The additional PHP 15.00 serves as the Documentary Stamp Tax (Sections 173 and 188 of the Tax Code and Revenue Memorandum Order 13-200 per copy issued.

•Certificate of Attendance in Pre-Marital Counseling & Family Planning Seminar Issued by the HRD-Office (Ask for Schedules)
◦1 original copy and 1 photocopy (Seminar: Room 104)
•Birth Certificate (New)
◦Issued by NSO (National Statistics Office) 1 original copy and 2 photocopies
•Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR)
◦Issued by NSO (National Statistics Office)
◦1 original copy and 1 photocopy
•Cedula with signature (Community Tax No. For the Current Year)
◦1 original copy and 2 photocopies
•Barangay Certificate
◦1 original copy and 1 photocopy
•For ages 18-24: Appearance of both parents, with valid I.D., for parental consent/advice
•Valid ID, 1 original and 2 photocopies


There is a 10 Day Waiting Period from filing of application. The Marriage License is valid for 120 days.

Regarding NSO Requests for Certifications: The interested party shall provide the following information to facilitate verification and issuance of certification.



Birth Certificate (will take 3 days to process)

1.Complete name of the child (first, middle, last)
2.Complete name of the father
3.Complete maiden name of the mother
4.Date of birth (month, day, year)
5.Place of birth (city/municipality, province)
6.Whether or not registered late.
If registered late, please state the year when it was registered.
7.Complete name and address of the requesting party
8.Relationship to the child
9.Number of copies needed
10.Purpose of the certification (purpose for marriage)
No Record of Marriage /CENOMAR (will take 5 – 10 days)

1.Complete name of the person
2.Complete name of the father

8.Purpose for the certification (purpose for marriage)
The processing period for requests for the Certificate of No Marriage Record is longer than that for copy issuance requests. The period could be longer if the surname of the subject person is common such as Aquino, Ferrer, Cruz, De Guzman, and others.
