You mean for web development, right?

In web development for dot Net, the VB is used as a server-side language and the ASP.Net is for the client-side processes. For web design, dot Net is still heavily dependent in HTML and CSS.

I haven't use VB.Net in web programming but it is pretty the same league as C#.Net, except the C# is more powerful. My answer would be, it depends on the website that you are creating. If your website contains complex processes I would not suggest VB.Net. Use C# instead.
