TS : i feel you bro, nahitabo nana nako many times. im not a pro pero di ko oyon nga gamiton lang ang photos without permission. mao karon ako na jd butangan ug watermarks akong mga photos halos naa sa tunga sa photo ug dako kaayo... labina mga sports nako kay bisag ilang gamiton at least sabotabol nga gi kuha nila somewhere kay naay dako nga watermarks.

yes i agree filing a case is not advisable kung dili ka registered or under IPO..pero at least mka refer ta sa RA8293 kung mo demand ta sa ng kawat to remove or cancel sa imong photos nga gigamit... kung way mo reklamo mag sge ug kawat mao nga maanad na sila di na mananghid... why not send them a letter then ask kng unsay imo gusto i credit ka or i remove or pabayad... para sila mka hibalo nga sayop sila.

ever since there has been no future in filling a case on this matter, not to mention those criminal cases that are still in court for decades already. we all know how lame the judiciary we have here in our country. let's just hope this would serve as an eye-opener to everyone of us here. as a graphic designer/illustrator working abroad, wala jud ta mabuhat na ani. even in our case before sa old company na (in this case dili photo) gapabuhat sila mascot na mickey mouse before pero yagit tanawon, disney filed a case against my previous company pero walay urong. igo lang gitago ang maong mascot daun humana. pero nikita na sa event ang company.

same ra ni sa principle sa images online, photos/illustrations. pinaka-mabuhat nalang nimo next time, place your photos online on minimum pixel count. ayaw lapas 720p. if ever naa ka clients magkagusto sa imo work, provide your contact nalang para didto lang ka magdistribute sa "legit" na nagka-interes nimo.

i don't believe in watermarks kay una, mabati imong trabaho. ikaduha (as illustrator) make known through your work, not by the name imprinted. i prefer small signatures, ilhanan sa petsa lang ang reason nako ani. (personal preference lang)

for the comment on making works private... online posting is a good marketing tool. pero bantay2 lang jud ta. sa among case, bahala magkalat online ang trabaho basta kay nabayran na and di lang i-claim na ilahang trabaho ok na sa akoa. pero la paman nuon ko ka-post og high-res na trabaho.

well you should at least request nalng pa tang2x ang photo... don't let them get away with this... mas sayon ni kay sa murder so ma solve ra ni.. there are several incidents na man na hitabo ni.. request sila i.tang2x gi tang2x ra man pud.. like the one in Ayala before..
