Yes, it's appropriate that these threads be closed.
No, there is nothing wrong with it.
Undecided.
mokuha tag lain example sa internet security breach brod ha para mka ingon ka nga logical...
remember PSN hacked by anonymous, steals users data even credit card details? so g unsa man sa Sony? dba g tighten nila ila internet security para dili ma usab? so, instead nga pangita-on si anonymous nga adto nag tago sa planet mars, ila g focus ang ila internet security. . . Now PSN is more secured. . .
mao ra na diri brod, "security breach" <<<--- naa nay solution, naa rana sa TELCOS ang solution...
sorry mods for the off topic posts...
OT: Define QUOTE?
1. To repeat or copy the words of (another), usually with acknowledgment of the source.
You were simply explaining your point and not quoting my post. tsk3x...
OnT:
At least you admitted that you clearly violated the terms and conditions of these telcos.
This is not about stopping you from using these VPN's to connect to the internet. You have all the right to use it at your own free will - legal or illegal as how one or another may define it. The point raised here by Boss YJOB is - Is it appropriate to have these types of thread here in iStorya? I am not speaking on their behalf but that's how I understood the point of this thread. They are more over concerned of the entire community. We'll never know that day may come where these telco's will report istorya.net due to accommodating these type of conversations of free internet via VPN using these telco's facilities (including their signal - not mine nor yours).

y should u pay? coz u owe to them (telcos) so u can operate ur business. they deserve their cut too. ur buying data from different provider and ur so kind enough to use local telco's infra for free, how ironic is that? ur data is passing thru telco's network as additional bandwidth or should i say excess bagage!
if u still dont get it? think of it this way. ever wonder y we shud pay to pass thru expressways? coz these highways arent natural wonders, they're man made...and that means $$$$$$ to build & maintain!
CEBU(user) <===> car<(data) <===> expressways(telco) <===> MARS(paidd VPN server)
idol kaau ni nako sila twEATer, tsunade ug netcommando *BOW*
lisod kaayo makipag argue sa mga tawo nga wala or dili kahibalo mo set up ug vpn server sulod sa vps.
Q:y should u pay? coz u owe to them (telcos) so u can operate ur business. they deserve their cut too.
A:hays naglisod man gani mi bayad sa maintenance sa mga servers unya pabayaron na nuon mi nimo sa telco nga nag earn of millions kaga tuig. nice suggestion. the rich will become richer and the poor never mind.
Q:ur buying data from different provider and ur so kind enough to use local telco's infra for free, how ironic is that?
A:i have the right to buy data from different provider since i bought the modem. i can use the modem anyway i want.
Q:ur data is passing thru telco's network as additional bandwidth or should i say excess bagage!
A:any proof? i hope your not just guessing.
Tweater
Again it is not the data from the VPN server that you are paying. VPN server doesn't contain the data that you want to access (e.g. naa sa VPN server ninyo ang data from Facebook?) Ang use of VPN server is to facilitate the secured connection that will be established through these telco's network.
A: pagsure dha tweater. kinsa nag ingon nimo nga ang server gigamit namo sa vpn wala data? the truth is when the server runs out of data it will go down ug dili na magamit.
About sa signal kay dili kami ang tag-iya pero it is free mao no need to pay. Data is not free mao nagpalit mi ug server to give data instead ang telcos mao maghatag ug data nga perting mahala. One reason ngano barato ang VPN kay data from US barato ra unlike data from Asia nga mahal kaayo.
