Now that's pretty elusive and unfortunately, few only got lucky to achieve it. (by which also tends average peeps to push on their limits and who are likely to suffer "a total" depression when ones' best fell short instead.)

agree. if you have somebody to back you up and play politics in the corporate world, why bother to push yourself. be a great idiot as you can be.
but if you have none, better excel in your field and be the cream of the crop. i have seen these two types of people in the environment i'm in and its way different if you have good grades to back you up. goals are essential in a job, and having good grades is one indicator that you know how to reach your goals and work for it. i say one since, of course, there are many of them.
My point is that, sa mga naka basa ani ug wala pa naka suway ug trabaho, ayaw mo pagsalig sa inyo rang grado sa college, or score sa board exam.
Ako, I have an option to graduate with Honors or just a Deans Lister, but I know if I do it, I would sacrifice much of my personal time. All work and no play is not good. I balanced my time with school, barkada and gf/lovelife.
College life should not be 100% poured on curricular activities, you are only young once. Enjoy life, have a good barkada and lovelife... what's important is that you don't neglect your schoolwork. Do not overpressure yourself.
pra nako dli importante na mo graduate ka with honorable mention ka o dli. depende rana sa diskarte nmo.........
Duh?
