2013 Ford Fiesta
Hmmmm... Interesting! I must say that the new snout of the Fiesta is a welcome change. However, I can't help but notice that the new grille is somewhat reminiscent of the trademark grille of a more prestigious car maker. Duuhh! Aston Martin guys! I wonder what the big dogs from Aston Martin would say about this. Though not exactly the same, you can't shake away the huge similarity.
It's good they realized that the huge black thing running across the grille of the former model does not do anything to make it flattering. The new one, though, I really dig. Though I miss the old headlamps, the new ones are not bad at all. And I also like, a lot, the front splitters. So very sporty. And those little elevations running along the center of the bonnet. And they lost the cutout at the front of the hood to accommodate the 'Ford' logo. It's the little things, really. All the little details here and there that would add up to a really great-looking car.
The rest of the car though remains the same. Which is not at all a bad thing.
Minor changes were made to the interior. The steering wheel looks more refined, streamlined. And the controls for the radio is now more complex and futuristic and it looks much more appealing than the one on the previous model. The controls for the AC now sports buttons and not dials. And the interior lighting theme is now blue which is more pleasing on the eyes than the amber ones. And the last thing to note, which is rather important, is they discarded the faux brushed aluminum around the center control panel.
I can't wait for this new Fiesta to hit Ford Cebu Showroom and ogle at it.
