Olympus released probably its very first DSLR in the E-10 first released on 2000 where 1 MP and 2 MP cameras are the norm. Its has a non-interchangeable 35-140mm F2.0-F2.4 lens, uses old smart media cards and CF cards, eats a lot of batteries, and slow like a tortoise. I had a chance of owning again this historical beast trough CS, which he sold me for just SGD $150. I was able to take pictures with this beast this afternoon which started sunny and rained late, though I managed to get only 50 pics, I am still amazed that this beast can produce decent pictures.... Here are some samples I got this afternoon:

More of the same. I plan to use this as a dedicated IR camera, since I already have a Hoya R72 IR filter, now where is that 62mm - 67mm step up ring?







Since ISO speed can never go over 320, this camera is best with enough light ... preferrably on a bright sunny day, not like the pictures above taken on a rainy cloudy afternoon. I'd post more pics when I get the chance...

mga master help naa baligya lens Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM sa ako kaila Php 23,000 , ok ba ni nga lens ? ang iya quality ? help mga master....

this is the very 1st SLR zoom lens with IS...in other words its old...23k seems steep for that.. less than 20k cguro...
quality? its not highend...its not as good as the more expensive versions but it holds its own for its price (not that sharp nor that fast)...
definetly has a place in history! this is where it all started in terms of IS...rest assured many many years from now all cameras and lenses will have antivibration systems and you know this is where it all began

new version of this lens is the 70-300 IS...sharper and faster at around 35 to 38k with full local warranty brand new...just so you get an idea...
