All banks have the same requirements. Standard na sya. The exception, if naa kay kaila nga bank manager nga suod nimo so advantage ka ana kay madali ang processing.

As to opening and maintaining balance, EPCIB man tingali ang ok.. P5T ra man na sila... Other bank P3T pero alay passbook.

As to what bank, ayaw lang sa ka open sa mga rural banks... Have you heard Bank of Cebu which was under receivership sa PDIC? rural bank na sya...

So mas ok kng sa mga commercial banks lang sa ka deposit...

like: MBTC, BPI, EPCIB, BDO, CITI, ABC, CBC, HSBC, UB...

Most banks requires an initial deposit of 5T, on that day you open for an account they will give you immediately the checkbook. You will be screened also by the bank manager like as to what purpose you open such account and source of funds for it. My wife got one at the Accord Bank sa may legaspi, initial deposit is 2T only.

PNB budget checking...2,500 deposit and maintaining balance. but you can only issue check 3 times in a month. ky if molapas ka ug three naay bayad P20 per check issued. Try sa lahug branch nga PNB atbang turtle's nest, kilid kukuk's.

by 3 times in a month you mean 3 checks lng for a particular month. but u can issue the whole check book in one time for use on different months, as in PDCs? thanks.
