stan lee's marvel...
nope. WW was made by the power of the Greek Pantheon(and is a demigoddess in the DCnU). if anything, she's very resistant to magic and knows her way around it. she doesn't really have a weakness but her skin is not as invulnerable as Superman as she can be wounded by piercing/sharp weapons(she's like Luffy in that sense).
magic is Superman's weakness. although I don't know if the same thing still applies in the DCnU.
If done right, I think a JLA movie will probably make more money than The Avengers. Then again, aside from the Nolan trilogy, DC hasn't really done well with their movies. Just take a look at "Green Lantern". I thought Ryan Reynolds was too pretty to be Hal Jordan. Plus, the costume really sucked monkey balls.
Here's another potential drawback in the JLA film: Zack Snyder has stated that he'd like his Supes film to be separate from the planned JLA flick. Borrowing from tradition, DC not only has continuity problems in the comics, but in the movies as well.
Magic isn't Superman's weakness, per se. He just doesn't have any resistance against it. His weaknesses are kryptonite and red sunlight.
Cartoons wise, I prefer the Justice League to the Avengers.
Comics wise, I don't really like the new-52
Movies wise, Marvel makes better movies than DC.
Will a Justice League movie beat the Avengers? A Justice League movie will have to explain TOO much. Why? You have to explain Aquaman, Hawkman, and Martian Manhunter, all of which is very hard to base a debut movie on. (Everyone knows the Trinity, and Green Lantern and Flash all have exposure). And who's going to be a credible threat? You need someone big like Darkseid. That's an alien invasion trope -been there, done that with Marvel's Chitauri. And Fourth World is really confusing to cram in an intro movie about the League.
and sqylogin, you have a very valid point. murag maglisod gyud ang director og scriptwriter ani.

Maybe DC can introduce these characters in a TV show or something, similar to what they're doing with Green Arrow. The actors in the TV series don't have to be the same actors playing in the movies but it would be better if they share some continuity.
As for a credible threat: Brainiac. I can't quite understand why they chose to go with Zod in the new Supes movie when that's been done before, or maybe they're saving him for the next film. Or maybe they can battle the Crime Syndicate of America, but it's been done in the cartoons before.
agree, unahon sa ang tv series para ipa ila ila sa new audiences then tan awn sa og mo hit ba.
