Went to Tamiya-Ayala yesterday in the intention in acquiring a 1/35 Tank but ended up buying this bad boy - A Lego Technic clone.

hello mga bro!

had lego pagkabata. sayang pud lagi krn na tiguwang nata magmahay sa a2 mga duwaan sauna. anyway. these Enlighten sets have really caught my eye recently. especially ka2 mga copy nila sa mga sets sa lego sa pagkabata nako.

any idea asa ta mkapalit ana dri cebu? went to kaking but wala nmn kaau sila enlighten na mga sets. mga gagmay man. or asa ta mkapalit online na masaligan. hehe ka2 unta mga pirate ships na dagko that im interested in. hehe tnx mga bro!

I saw some Enlighten sets in Play n Learn, Ayala.

@ cmontoya: ok ang quality sa decoo (lego technic clone) bai. for the price, sulit kaayo. if i have to compare to it from the orig lego technic, i would rate this as 8.5/10. i will post some w.i.p. photos later.

i would like to add that when putting a minifig in the driver's seat (left or right, depends on how you built the roadster), ma bikil ang arm sa minifig sa white 1x2 brick na support sa door. solution, let the driver raise his one arm like in a position that he is driving and waving at the same time. not the safest of ideas really. lol!

Design
- This is definitely inspired by the fictional character, Sherlock Holmes.
- His deerstalker hat isn't entirely accurate as far as what Sherlock Holmes wore though

Paint
- His supposed caped coat is only painted on (see grip) but what is there is well done

Accessories
- He only comes with a magnifying glass that actually works

Fun Factor

- While he's one of the minifigures that would look great on the third configuration, vintage racing car, of my incoming Blue Roadster (Blue Roadster* | LEGO Shop), his fun factor is limited to helping other figures solve some problems
- I need to kitbash a Dr. Watson minifure sometime in the future, he he.

Gripe
- I wish he came with a pipe and a full body checkered caped coat.
