Even though I didn't like how he executed "The Decision" I still feel bad for MacMac. He looked to have a good future in bball.

Now he doesn't even have the LA Revilla excuse to fall back on. Even with LA out of the line up, MacMac still isn't getting to play 12 minutes a game. How is he going to develop to PBA level that way?

Elorde on the other hand is averaging I think about 17-19minutes a game.

regarding tallo's poor performance, this is probably the result of sitting out 2 years of competitive basketball during his senior year in hs and 1st year in college. bati gyud ang choices he made so far. hopefully makabawi siya and do better...

It's sad that Tallo has been a disappointment so far, but I'm not throwing in the towel for him just yet. Maybe people are just expecting too much from him, maybe not getting to play last year hindered his game's growth...daghan kaayo possible reasons but I agree with boygadget, bata pa si Tallo and he has the rest of the current season as well as 4 more years of eligibility to figure the UAAP out. Di lang ta magsalita ug patapos kay basig ma-foot in mouth disease ta ana kung mu-sikat na si Tallo hehe.

(But of course, safe to say already that he is not in Kiefer Ravena's airspace. Na-draft man gani si Monfort ug Atkins sa PBA, at this point Kiefer can skip the rest of his UAAP years and go pro AND contribute!)

rookie season paman ni tallo ron taas pa ug time para ma improve...besides daghan sab siya kompetensiya sa iya position nga mga maayo sab...pero ug i-compare sila ni kiefer ravena kinsa mas maayo?..kinahanglan pa ni tubagon?..hehehe...wat i like ka tallo kay iyahang depensa...maglisod jud silang ravena,romeo,rr garcia niya..atleast naay bright side sa iya duwa ron sa uaap...nextyr opensa napud ang i-improve!!!!!

The rookie thing doesn't cut it.

MacMac is not a true rookie. He has been with La Salle, a month after he went "awol". AFAIK even in the midst of last year's UAAP campaign he was already doing partial training with Team A, then complete practices when the UAAP Season was over. He has been in the DLSU (team A) system for 9 months now. He should have been acclimatized by now.

I think it was more of a coaching change that probably affected Macmac's progress, but that coaching change affected all DLSU players. The other guards Tampus, Vosotros and Torres (Tomas) seem to have adjusted well to the new coach/system?

It is just a matter of style I guess. MacMac needs the ball. It was always going to be LA Revilla's ball this year that it why I found it strange, given he left Ateneo for PT, that he went to a team with a solid lead guard. Juami Tiongson's hold on the PG slot was far more shaky than LA Revilla's.

Now that Jeric Teng is in the line-up and looks to be the next King Archer, mas malisud pa ni si Macmac. Even though Jeric plays the wing he is another guy who can only be effective with the ball, ala LA Revilla.

It looks bleak for MacMac, but I hope he still finds a way to make an impact in the UAAP. I know a few fellow Ateneo Association Alumni here in Cebu say "sayang ang bata" more than they are bitter.

unfair kaayo icompare si mac2 ni keifer, grabe na exposure si keifer sa international competition, if ni-apil pa si mac2 ato nga time rp team u16, maybe dako na kaayo improvement karon.
pero bata paman kaayo si mac2, another 2 years lig-on na siya, that's if iyang papa will take the backseat. the way isee it, subra ra kaayo iya papa ka-apilapilon. subrang bilib ra kaayo
